They are manufactured from EVA and purposely sized 1m x 1m x 1.5cm and the interlock also holds the mats together stopping any chance of gaps appearing with the subsequent danger of injury not to count the hygiene aspect. The benefit of this size is light weight, 3kg per mat, so easily handled. It is impervious to water urine etc. It as well as normal brushing shovelling and hosing down the mats can also be power washed.
