Baby Wireless Monitor and Camera This baby monitor is essentially a CCTV system that is wire-free between the monitor and infra-red camera. Users of the system can monitor a baby, or babies, in a cot or bed without having to leave the light on. The night vision LEDs allow the camera to see in the dark. An example of the system in use was with the monitor placed on the TV in the living room. With the volume turned down even a slight noise registered on the visual audio indicator, as well as giving a view of the cot or bed on the screen. This allowed the parents to have some time to enjoy the TV without having to regularly walk upstairs. The monitor is powered by a standard mains socket, so it is easy to move and can be relocated to any area where you might be working or resting - and it allows you to keep an eye on the children at the same time. With its 100m (300ft) range, the whole house can be covered, and by placing the camera to look out a window the garden or play area can be kept in view. The system can also be utilised to act as a door monitor or security device. With the relevant leads (not supplied) video recording can be easily accomplished. Should there be two or more children other cameras may be added. The system can handle four cameras flicking from one to the other on the monitor - no need to use your television set or computer screen.
